A Memorial Service Will Be Held in August 2021​
.  A celebration of life memorial service was held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 3:30 pm at the Anacortes Methodist Church (2201 H Avenue).   We asked attendees to wear something purple as it was a color that Setsuko loved and often wore.

Visit Setsuko's Burial Site
Setsuko is buried at the Grand View Cemetery in Anacortes next to her beloved husband of 61 years Joseph Earl Amburn. The burial took place on June 26th, 2020 with immediate family only.  Their grave marker is in the cremation garden not far from the Veterans' Memorial and to the south of a big tree.
